Hello, I've run into a little issue with Nitro Pro that I'm attempting to solve in an easier fashion than what Nitro had to offer. I have volume licensing for 120 installations of Nitro Pro. My company has only about 100 users, and according to Spiceworks, only 90 installations of any Nitro Pro version. When I go to install Nitro Pro on a freshly imaged computer (for new users, or a repaired PC), I get a license error from Nitro saying I've reached my maximum installs under my license. I know this can't be right because as I stated, i only have about 100 users, and purchased 120 licenses, and Spiceworks says I only have 90 installed. My only thought is if a computer is reimaged, then Nitro is installed again on the new image, that eats up another license.

I've contacted Nitro Support about this issue, and they requested in return I supply a list of every computer with Nitro installed. That would be fine, however, they need a computer ID and Installation ID that you can only retrieve through Nitro. It creates special installation IDs and computer IDs. They said they do not currently have a special tool designed to collect all this info, and that I would have to go around to every PC and manually collect this information, and pointed me to this link: This is not feasible. It has to be stored somewhere, therefore I would think it could be recalled somehow other than in nitro its self. Any suggestions are appreciated.
I've just come across this post and I have this same issue with Nitro and have talked to their Engineers about it. They have a program (LicenseCheck.exe) that will collect the Computer ID and Computer name for the computers that have Nitro installed on the network. Another way around this and to start fresh is to upgrade to the latest version of Nitro. All of the Computer ID's that they have that stay on 10, they can remove. This is an annoyance for me as well and they say they are working on a new licensing solution that will rid these headaches. I have also put in requests for them to grab the Computer Name in their database, so we can easily track where the issue is.
